- 2016年11月9日重庆陈家坪新一代天气雷达在运行过程中出现系统噪声温度变坏、线性通道测试信号变坏、定标异常等报警,动态范围缩小、零点下移; 反射率定标实测值与期望值差值较大; 与永川雷达回波相比较,小信号明显减少。综合判断是由于无源限幅器故障导致,更换后雷达各项指标正常。近年来,重庆站无源限幅器在无外界强干扰的情况下反复被烧毁,经维修发现是由于方位旋转关节电弧打火,导致无源限幅器输入端驻波过大,击穿无源限幅器。此次故障是由一个隐形故障引发另一个显性故障案例,具有典型性,对雷达技术人员有很好借鉴价值。
- Abstract:
- Bad noise temperature, weak signal, strange calibration and the reduction of the dynamic range came up showing negative performance in the operation of the weather radar on 9th Nov 2016 in Chongqing. Preliminary investigation reveals that the malfunction of the passive limiter was the root of the cause, and it recovered its function after replacement. Recent years, the passive limiter in Chongqing was repeatedly burnt down without external intervention.The maintenance team discovered that it was the standing wave that caused by the ignition of the azimuth rotating joint overloaded the passive limiter. This is a typical example of transient malfunction cascaded to an apparent damage, it provides valuables to the fellow staff in their later maintenance.
