- 提出一种用于5G移动终端的8端口多输入多输出(multiple input multiple output,MIMO)缝隙天线阵列。该天线阵列由4个双极化天线单元组成,分别放置在尺寸为150 mm×75 mm的系统基板的4个角落。天线单元顶层由一对正交放置的微带馈线和一对方形不规则金属环组成,该方形不规则环可用来改善天线的隔离度。天线单元底层为一外圆内方的缝隙结构,用于实现天线的宽频带特性。实验结果表明,多输入多输出天线阵列获得了3.3~4.1 GHz的-6 dB阻抗带宽,优于16 dB的隔离度且高于88%的辐射效率。此外,该天线在工作频段内的包络相关系数(ECC,envelope correlation coefficient)远小于0.5。可见,该多输入多输出天线阵列具有宽频带和高辐射效率等特性,适合用于5G移动终端系统。
- Abstract:
- This paper proposes an eight-port Multiple Input Multiple Output(MIMO)slot antenna array for 5G mobile terminals. The antenna array consists of four dual-polarized antenna elements, which are placed at the four corners of the system substrate with a size of 150 mm×75 mm. The top layer of the antenna unit consists of a pair of orthogonally placed microstrip feeders and a pair of square irregular metal rings, which can be used to improve the isolation of the antenna. The bottom layer of the antenna unit is a slot structure with an outer circle and an inner square, which is used to realize the broadband characteristics of the antenna. The experimental results show that the Multiple Input Multiple Output antenna array achieves -6 dB impedance bandwidth of 3.3-4.1 GHz, better than 16 dB isolation and higher than 88% radiation efficiency. In addition, the envelope correlation coefficient(ECC)of the antenna in the working frequency band is much less than 0.3. It can be seen that the Multiple Input Multiple Output antenna array has the characteristics of wide frequency band and high radiation efficiency, and is suitable for use in 5G mobile terminal systems.
